Description of the duties of the vice Dean of Academic Affairs

 

  1. Planning and presenting the educational policies of the faculty based on the upstream documents and the goals explained by the honorable vice-chancellor of the university with Collaborating and benefiting from the experiences and participation of educational group managers and faculty members.
  2. Manage the educational affairs of the faculty and continuous monitoring of the correct implementation of educational regulations and laws and communicate effectively with relevant levels of education at the university level.
  3. Supervising the performance of educational groups and checking the implementation of the educational duties of faculty members.
  4. Establishing and regularly holding the educational council of the faculty and regularly submitting the educational performance report to the dean of the faculty and the honorable vice-chancellor of the University.
  5. Supervising different educational fields from the point of view of the curriculum of each field and, if necessary, proposing the necessary changes and revising the field curriculum based on expert opinions and consensus with the professors and students of each field in order to adapt the educational content as much as possible to the current knowledge and the needs of the society with an emphasis on providing responsive and practical training.
  6. Continuous examination of the education situation and providing solutions to improve the quality of education (theory, practice, and hospital internships) in cooperation with the consensus of group managers, members of the academic leadership, and benefiting from the constructive opinions and suggestions of students.
  7. Efforts to establish educational justice and its stabilization and continuation.
  8. Attempting to launch short-term training courses or training courses at the graduate level with an emphasis on interdisciplinary training.
  9. Planning to provide the necessary educational facilities and equipment and estimating the annual budget required by the faculty in cooperation with the faculty board and managers of the groups
  10. Continuous monitoring and evaluation of student's educational status and performance, strengthening and establishing a close relationship between professors and students, and taking the necessary measures
  11. Planning to guide and support students to help them advance to higher academic and academic levels through coordination with respected managers groups.
  12. Planning to improve the internationalization process of the faculty through the maximum effort to attract foreign students in educational courses a short term and long term.
  13. Planning for the development of international educational relations and inter-university cooperation within the framework of the rules and regulations determined by the Ministry Affiliated, University, and International Vice-Chancellor.
  14. Supervising the implementation of the evaluation process of faculty members based on effective evaluation methods.
  15. Planning for the continuous holding of scientific and practical seminars with the cooperation of the respected managers of the departments to better introduce the capabilities of the faculty and create scientific enthusiasm in professors and students.
  16. Planning and encouraging professors to compile and hold seminars and courses of open education, skill, and knowledge training with the cooperation of related vice-chancellors at the university level.
  17. Planning for the growth of scientific research activities in students through effective communication with related departments (student and cultural affairs, research affairs, resources planning and management).
  18. Planning and paying special attention to the use and development of e-learning according to its special role in sustainable development.
