The English Language Department

The English Language Department is in charge of holding general English (GE), and English for Specific Purposes (ESP) classes at the 8 schools in all fields affiliated to SBMU, covering some 90 to 100 units each semester.

The Department is also in charge of teaching English to the SBMU International Branch in Qeshm Island as well.

The Department of English Language is equipped with a hi-tech lab with a capacity of 30 students with an invaluable source of English textbooks and CDs for the students.

Almost all MSC and PhD English course classes are held at the language lab.
